As a travel photographer it’s been important for me to try my hand at a huge range of photographic styles because, in my opinion, travel photography incorporates every other style and genre of photography. This experience allows me to have foundation of understanding in each photography genre, both technically and artistically.
My writing features with NPhoto Magazine, Photoshop User, Drobo, Triumph, Platypod, Lonely Planet, Passion Passport, BlackRapid, Skip Cohen University, TipSquirrel, among others.
My images have been used by National Geographic, Time, Lonely planet, Microsoft, EA Arts, Huawei, Boeing, Conde Nast, NBC, Yahoo, BAE Systems, Shell, WestJet, Qantas, ESPN, BMW, Discovery, Vente Privee, Viacom, Amazon, Norwegian, and a huge range of newspaper and media outlets globally.
I’m qualified in travel writing and use this to my advantage, combining technical details with real-world experiences when reviewing hardware and software, and when creating inspirational and educational copy.
I am intentionally independent and not a brand ambassador for any company. The reason I made this decision is to afford myself the opportunity to impartially test gear and techniques, giving honest critique and feedback every time.
Instructional and inspirational speaking work has included Photoshop World, The Photography Show, Russell Brown’s Art Directors Invitational Masterclass, The Travel Photography Conference, The iPhone Photography Conference, The Gear Conference, Making Money from your Photography Conference, KelbyOne classes, and a range of smaller jobs including galleries and camera clubs in the UK and USA.
The brands I’ve worked with include Adobe, DJI, Profoto, Platypod, 3 Legged Thing, Xencelabs, Insta360, H&Y, TopazLabs, Skylum Software, MIOPS, ShiftCam, Wandrd, Toxic, Zhiyun, Vallerret, Feiyu, and others.
It all begins with an idea. To discuss working together for speaking engagements, blog writing, tutorials for magazine, video or online, product reviews, podcasts, opinion pieces, educational content, or any other partnership idea, please get in touch.
