Last winter I drove to the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. This year I’m doing another winter mission, this time to spend 80 days inside the Arctic Circle in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Due North is the series documenting my winter mission to hit as many Nordic countries as possible, and I’d love you to vicariously come with me. Series two is underway and I’ll be dropping a weekly episode whilst, in real-life, I’ll be driving north.. The first couple weeks will see what is right and wrong with Kofifernweh, and there’s a bit of news that will coincide with it. After that I’ll head back to the base on the south coast to get a vehicle test and service before skipping the UK on a ferry to France where I’ll be turning left, driving 790 miles (1,270km) in under 36 hours to catch the next ferry from Hirtshals, Denmark to Larvik, Norway. I’ll drive up past Oslo and into Sweden, and anything could happen from there on!
Here’s where I’m going: -
Scotland
Norway
Sweden
Finland
…and on the way I’ll be passing through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
