Headspace

Hey team! Thanks again for dropping by on this fine #TravelTuesday. Today I’m in the New Forest in Hampshire, UK. The reason I’m here is because of just how calm it is, which is perfect for what I need right now. The thing I need is headspace.

My surroundings right now consist of the sight of nature, the sounds of singing birds, and the smells of lush greenery preparing for autumn colours. The wandering horses, donkeys and cows occasionally pass by, and the only other people around are here with the same mindset. This is perfect.

The next few days will see me focus on two things. Firstly, I need to finish my presentation for The Photography Show. This weekend I’ll be up on stage in the editing suite presenting a class on Photoshop for Social Media. I’m really looking forward to it - it’s the first time since the ‘rona struck that I’ll have been at a show, and the icing on the cake is that I’ll be speaking at it.

Secondly, headspace. I’ll be addressing my headspace because, as some of you know, there’s currently a countdown on. I’ve had my mind in the wrong place for creativity for many of the past 14 years and I’m now addressing that issue. The main thing I’ll be doing by addressing it is taking it all and putting it in a box.

I when the time is right (which will be quite soon) I’ll explain more on the headspace matter, but for now I’m getting shit done.

Coming soon, aside from The Photography Show, will be a little jaunt to Wales to visit the Mach Loop. If you’re into planes it’ll be perfect for you! But for now, thanks for reading, and I’ll catch up with you all soon.

Much love

Dave
